Maersk Line Celebrates its 1,000,000 TEUS Container

at the Terminal Multicon

Achievement 1,000,000 teus containers Maersk Line in Terminal Multicon - Jakarta due in December 2010 which is used by PT. Bridgestone Tire Indonesia, one of the largest tire manufacturer in the world.

Terminal Multicon was started in 1998 and serving Maersk Line since 2000. The Terminal was established to accommodate Shipping Lines, Exporters, Importers and Transportation Entrepreneurs by offering quality service, accurate and fast container pickups, and 24-hour operations, which can overcome the traffics and Transport Entrepreneurs operating time from 1 trip to 2 trips per day and reduce the traffics that occur during working hours.

Terminal Multicon strives to constantly adjust to current needs by providing modern facilities, well management performance and sophisticated IT systems. The sophistication of the terminal’s IT systems has gained the recognition of Maersk Line's headquarters in Copenhagen , Denmark , and planned the system will be implemented in Maersk Line in the entire world.
