Monday, March 14th, 2011, PT Multicon Indrajaya Terminal gladly and honorably welcomed the visit of Maersk Line headquarter team from Copenhagen, Denmark to our Jakarta 2 Terminal – Cakung Branch. The Maersk Line team consisted of Senior Vice President / Chief Process Officer, Mr. Lucas Vos and Director of Process Excellence Pacific Asia – Ms. Katie Gray, accompanied by Maersk Line Jakarta team, and their purpose for the visit was to find out how the business process excellence done by Multicon Jakarta 2 Terminal – Cakung Branch is.

Multicon Jakarta 2 Terminal – Cakung Branch is a dedicated terminal for Maersk Line, and along with our commitment to provide satisfactory and excellent service to our customer, the terminal have been employing the most advanced technology in Container Terminal Industry, which we call 4th Generation Terminal. Some of the innovations in the 4th generation terminal are as following:

-          Automatic Barrier Gate

-          Handheld device

-          Friendly and Comfortable Customer Service Counter

-          Rail Mounted Gantry Crane for repair workshop

As the result of the visit, Ms. Vos comment that Multicon Jakarta 2 Terminal is well organized, clean and green depot with paperless procedure, and has excellent process. It is the first modern Depot that he have ever seen in the world. We gladly and honorably accept the comment and we will strive to provide better services for our customers.
