Mr. Lars Reno Jakobsen - Senior Vice President / Head of Network & Product who is one of the Board Of Director from Maersk Headquarters, Copenhagen and Mr. Niels H. Madsen – Network Specialist / Asia Pasific Liner Operations Cluster has visited Multicon Terminal at Cakung on last Thursday, October 27, 2011 as previously has visited by Mr. Lucas Vos - Senior Vice President, Chief Process Officer on March 2011. Main focus on this visit is to have more information by seeing Multicon’s Terminal directly as only known so far from news.

Multicon Terminal at Cakung we called as 4th Generation Terminal which is completed with modern facilities and convenient Customer Service Counter, fully air condition that able to support its function as front liner of Maersk in servicing Customer. Inside that room also available coffee / soft drinks services that can be enjoyed by one of stakeholder of the customer (EMKL) when perform documents process and make them convenient with this situation. Multicon operation staff are also equipped with Handheld, a tool that can provide and distribute information to the office and direct to Maersk by system and paperless. There is a Barrier Gate aimed for less human touch, and also has a Gantry Crane function to accelerate and speed up of repair process.

Mr. Jakobsen are very impressed as this is his first time seeing well organize depot in the world, he also commented Multicon Terminal is the best for Maersk depot as Multicon are always leading with improvement by always doing development to meet Maersk high expectations.
